We’re proud to share that Balin Miller has become the second climber in 37 years to ascend Reality Bath on White Pyramid in Alberta, Canada. Just two days before his 23rd birthday, Balin was driving through Canada when he decided to take on the challenge of solo ice climbing Reality Bath. The route was first ascended by Mark Twight back in 1988.

Before this incredible achievement, Balin spent December and part of January in South America, pushing his limits with climbs in Patagonia, including summiting the iconic Cerro Torre—another extraordinary display of endurance and determination.

Balin’s journey to conquer Reality Bath was featured in a 45-minute interview on the First Ascent climbing podcast, which you can now listen to on Spotify and iHeartRadio.
